Membership: Join us!

We welcome all applications . Please contact the office/shop who will be delighted to arrange to show you round the clubhouse facilities and for you to have a round of golf. They will also be able to assist with any queries you may have. Hagley Golf Club is affiliated to Canterbury and NZ Golf, and all subs are inclusive of levies to Canterbury and NZ Golf. Affiliated members often receive cheaper green fees when playing at other golf courses.

Why Join Hagley Golf Club?

Right in the heart of the city, so handy.
Everyone is welcome, all abilities, all ages, men and women.
Turn up on Saturday morning at least 15 minutes before tee-off, register and play.
No need to book your tee time weeks or months ahead.
Play with different people every week.
some weeks similar handicaps play together.
some weeks a variety of handicaps play together.
Shotgun start using up to 4 start tees, everyone finishes within a short time frame.
Don’t let a frost be the cause of losing your tee-time. We wait for awhile and everyone tees off a little later.
Enjoy a beverage on the deck after the round, followed by prize giving.

*New Secondary Membership: Must continue to be a Fully Paid Member of another NZ affiliated club for the year for which you paid a fee of at least $500. If you paid less than $500 then the difference between $500 and what you did pay is added to the Hagley fee. Must have home club ID number.

If you have been looking to join a club but just can't afford the cost here is a deal for you!! The First-Year membership for just $470, 12-hole membership $360. This offer is only open to new members of Hagley Golf Club and will run for 12 months from date of purchase.

Secondary Membership

Already a member of a golf club? How about a Secondary Membership? Get full playing rights, and it’s cheaper than you might think! Paid a sub of at least $500 at your primary NZ affiliated Golf Club? Then the secondary fee is only $300. Paid a sub that was less than $500 at your primary club? Then the fee is $300 plus the difference between $500 and the fee you paid. Must continue to be a Full Member of another NZ affiliated club. Must have home club ID number

Associate Plus (Pay as you Play)

For those that don’t get out as often as they would like we have another new option.
This will give you a full membership with all the rights of full membership, but you will be required to pay a small fee every time you play on the course. You pay $150.00 upfront membership then green fees with a $5.00 discount each time you play. Great for those that want to retain their membership but just don’t have enough time to play on a regular basis. Just call into the shop or down load the application form and you are half way there.
