The Hagley Golf Club’s AGM will be held at 8.30am on Saturday 14 December 2019.
Nomination and Election of Officers
Nominations are called for the positions of President, Vice President, Treasurer, Captain, Vice-Captain and 3 Executive members. Nomination forms are available to download here or at the clubhouse. Please note nominations close on 1 December. Nomination forms need to name the proposers and seconders and need to be signed by the nominee. If there is an excess of nominations a ballot shall be taken at the AGM.
The Agenda for the AGM and Annual Report (containing executive reports and a summary statement of financial position and a cash flow statement) can be picked up at the shop office from 2 December. They can be emailed to members upon request. A full statement of the Club’s financial statements for the year ended 30 September 2019 is also available from the shop office from 2 December.
Christmas Dinner and Prize Giving
Immediately following the AGM, a 12 hole tournament will be played. Members will then reassemble at 12.30pm in the clubhouse to celebrate a Christmas Dinner. Prize giving will be following that. This is a very popular event for all members to enjoy. For catering purposes we need to know numbers attending. Please note the deadline to notify any Committee member and pay $30 for the Dinner is 1 December.
